Baltimore Museum of Art

Founded over a century ago with a single painting, the Baltimore Museum of Art (BMA) has grown to house more than 97,000 works, spanning a diverse array of cultures and periods. Located in Baltimore, the museum features extensive collections of artworks and antiquities, as well as 3 acres of sculpture gardens. A highlight is its comprehensive Matisse collection, the largest on public display. Visitors can explore a rich tapestry of art and history, from ancient artifacts to modern masterpieces, all within the museum’s expansive galleries and outdoor spaces.
