Uchisar Castle (Uçhisar Kalesi), tall and honeycombed with tunnels, rises from twin slabs of volcanic tuff above the town of Uchisar in Cappadocia, Turkey. Its striking silhouette dominates the dramatic landscape, inviting visitors to climb its stairs for sweeping views across the surrounding valleys.
