Hermit Road

Hermit Road, a 7-mile (11-kilometer) stretch along the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park, offers nine designated overlooks with dazzling views of the canyon. This scenic route, one of the most panoramic in the park, is closed to private vehicles for most of the year. Visitors can explore the road on foot, by bike, or via bus tours, allowing them to fully appreciate the expansive vistas and the dramatic landscape that defines the Grand Canyon.
